Glass jars are completely reusable

Reduce - Reuse - Recycle 🌱

Our glass jars are fully reusable!

Your 8-ounce candle jar can be repurposed into:

  • A jar for your morning muesli and fruit
  • A jar for individual servings of soup
  • A small vase for garden flowers
  • A jar for storing nails in the garage
  • A jar for loose candy
  • A decorative pencil holder
  • A jar to make a new candle! We can do it for you!

Tips for using your candle 🕯️

  • Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • When lighting the candle, melt the entire surface of the wax to prevent tunneling and extend the candle's life.
  • Between each use, trim the wick to 1/4 inch (for wooden wicks, to 1/8 inch). This prevents the candle from curling, forming a sooty mushroom (on organic cotton wicks), and keeps the wax clean. You can use our wick trimmer, a pair of scissors, or even your fingers to trim the wick before lighting it. The same rule applies to crackling wooden wicks. The wick should not be too long to ensure proper burning.

Why soy wax? 🌿

Soy wax is 100% natural and plant-based, unlike paraffin wax, which is petroleum-based and may contain substances that are harmful to health. Soy wax naturally produces less soot and is therefore less harmful to health. Furthermore, it burns more slowly, allowing the candle to last longer than paraffin candles.

Aesthetically, soy wax has a smooth, creamy texture, making it ideal for adhering to glass and metal containers. Thanks to the addition of natural dyes, we achieve beautiful, pure colors, unlike beeswax, which tends to have a yellowish tint.

We use natural fragrances that subtly fill your room without being overpowering, as can happen with other brands.

Recycling, reusing, and refilling glass jars ♻️

Glass recycling is not yet as widespread in Quebec as it is in Europe. Although efforts are being made to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills, this unfortunately remains the norm in many municipalities.

That is why we offer several options for reusing our containers and reducing waste.

Our wooden and cotton wicks 🌳

We have tested dozens of wicks from various Canadian suppliers. For our candles, we have chosen FSC-certified wooden wicks made from fruit trees.

Care instructions:

  • Trim the wick to 1/8 inch before each use and remove any ash buildup.
  • Our organic cotton wicks are natural and burn cleanly, without soot or health risks. We recommend trimming the wick to 1/4 inch before each use.

General advice: Never let the candle burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

Safety tips ⚠️

  • Make sure the entire surface of the wax is melted to prevent tunneling and extend the life of your candle.
  • Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from flammable materials. Keep a close eye on it if you have pets or children.
  • Make sure that no wick debris or ash gets into the liquid wax, as this could discolor the wax and alter the scent.
  • Do not move the candle while it is lit or still liquid.

Our dryer balls

We recommend using at least 3 balls per load. Apply 1 to 2 drops of fragrance to each ball about 10 minutes before starting the cycle.

The balls reduce static electricity, cut drying time by 25%, are natural, and can be used for up to 1,000 drying cycles

Turkish cotton towel

Our luxury Turkish cotton towels are a must-have for your daily life. Perfect for home, the cottage, camping, or the beach, they are ultra-absorbent (they can absorb up to 7 times their weight in liquid!) yet compact and easy to pack in your luggage.

Care Instructions:

  • We do not recommend putting the towel in the dryer. Once hung up, it dries very quickly.
  • The more you wash it, the brighter the colors will become. Ironing can also bring out the colors.
  • Wash the towel in cold water.
  • If it loses its absorbency, soak it for a few minutes in a mixture of water and vinegar before putting it in the washing machine.
