Aromatic inspiration... Destination Hawaii

Have you ever been to Hawaii? It really is a wonderful destination. Not only are the beaches heavenly, but the archipelago is home to 10 of the world's 14 climates, an active volcano, astronomical observatories - there's something for everyone!

But one thing that caught my eye from day one as we walked through Honolulu's Waikiki beach was this floral scent, which I'd never smelled before. After a few minutes, we were in a store and I asked what the name of this flower was, which can be found in these huge trees all over the city. It's the frangipani. A beautiful flower that grows all over the Hawaiian Islands.

It was an aromatic revelation for me, a real crush. We had to develop a fragrance with this scent, with a blend of hibiscus and jasmine, the beautiful flowers found throughout the seven islands of Hawaii. This is the inspiration for our bouquet of Hawaiian flowers on Maui.

Our "Flowers of Hawaii" soy candle is available in 10 & 4 ounce sizes. In addition, we now have the shower steamer (shower bomb). A true home spa with floral scents, worthy of this beautiful destination.

In terms of visits and places that impressed us, here are a few places we recommend if you go there.
Oahu:
  • Visit Pearl Harbour
  • A day in Waikiki and swimming on this beautiful beach
  • Rent a car to tour the island
  • Diamond head
  • Nuuanu Pali lookout
  • And the other beaches are all beautiful!

Big Island:
  • Waipio lookout, what a view!
  • Pololu Valley lookout, another beautiful viewpoint
  • Akaka falls
  • The national park of volcanoes (they are often active in this region), you can even walk through a lava tube, a corridor where lava once flowed.
  • Mauna Kea
  • Swim at the beaches near the airport, to the north, where turtles are present and you can come face to face with them. Just keep your distance from them.
  • A farm of coffee or macadamia nuts

Discover it for yourself! But don't forget the sunscreen. And if you don't have the budget, pick up a Lima Eco soy candle and get a taste of the Hawaiian vibe!
