The comfort of candles in daily life

Cocooning ("comfort, well-being and living together") is not just taking a bath with a candle and a book. It's a way of life. In our daily lives, we enjoy candlelight in our homes. Whether it is during the evening, during a card game with friends, enjoying a good meal with family, in front of the computer while telecommuting, practicing your musical instrument, cooking, any moment is a good moment to enjoy the flame of a candle.

The effect is soothing. It is something that is enjoyed by people all over the world. In Denmark, the country that is ranked as the happiest in the world, the key to happiness is found in the small details of everyday life. The candle and its light are an integral part of their daily life.

According to a study, Danes burn an average of 6 kilos of candle wax per capita per year. That's great! We find them everywhere, in offices, in school classrooms, at home, everywhere! A beautiful obsession that is linked to emotional comfort. Yet, like here in Canada, it is a country that experiences long and hard winters. But with a set of rituals, they have managed to earn the title of happiest people on the planet. This is the concept of "hygge".

If you haven't experienced the pleasure of candlelight yet, you need to start! Lima Eco candles are made of soy wax, which burns very slowly and provides hours of enjoyment. An average candle lasts up to 50 hours. Discover them!
