Have you ever been to Hawaii? It’s truly a wonderful place to visit. Not only are the beaches absolutely stunning, but the archipelago is home to 10 of the 14 climate zones found on Earth, an active volcano, and astronomical observatories—there really is something for everyone!
But one thing in particular caught my attention from the very first day, as we walked through Honolulu on Waikiki Beach: a floral scent I had never smelled before. A few minutes later, we were in a shop, and I asked what the name of this flower was—the one that grew on those massive trees all over the city. It was the frangipani. A beautiful flower that grows everywhere on the Hawaiian islands.

It was a sensory revelation for me—I fell head over heels in love with it. We had to create a fragrance using this scent, blending hibiscus and jasmine, those beautiful flowers found throughout the seven Hawaiian islands. That’s how our Hawaiian Flower Bouquet was inspired by the island of Maui.

Our "Hawaiian Flowers" soy candle is available in 10-ounce and 4-ounce sizes. Plus, we now offer a shower steamer and a shower bomb. A true home spa experience with floral scents, perfect for this beautiful destination.

In terms of the places we visited that left a lasting impression on us, here are some spots we recommend if you go there.
Oahu:
- A visit to Pearl Harbor
- A day in Waikiki and swimming on that beautiful beach
- Renting a car to drive around the island
- Diamond Head
- Nuuanu Pali Lookout
- And the other beaches—they're all beautiful!
Big Island:
- Waipio Lookout—what a view!
- Pololu Valley Lookout, another beautiful viewpoint
- Akaka Falls
- Volcanoes National Park (there are often active volcanoes in this region); you can even walk through a lava tube, which is a passageway where lava once flowed.
- Mauna Kea
- Swimming at the beaches north of the airport; there are turtles there, and you might find yourself face to face with them. Just be sure to keep your distance from them.
- A coffee or macadamia nut farm
It's a must-see! But above all, don't forget the sunscreen. And if you're on a tight budget, pick up a Lima Eco soy candle—it'll give you a taste of that Hawaiian vibe!
